Summer is right around the corner and the Jackson Hole Jewish Community is gearing up for our annual Spirit of the Mountains Summer camp (July 16-20 and July 23-27)!

I am thrilled to be directing camp again this year and spending time with your child(ren). As many of you know, I am a mother of three daughters (Reviva, 6 years old, Lulav and Nili, 3-year-old twins).  Prior to parenthood, I was an elementary school teacher in Jackson for many years. My passion is teaching and I am very much looking forward to spending time directing and instructing Spirit of the Mountains camp and integrating Jewish learning and activities in fun and engaging ways.

As you look ahead at opportunities for your children this summer, please consider enrolling them in our camp! Attached you will find an introductory letter and registration forms.  Participants will also receive $25 discount if registration forms are submitted by Friday March 16, 2018.  We encourage early registration so we can plan accordingly for instructors, transportation, age-appropriate activities, and groupings, etc. For the last two years camp filled up with a waitlist! We recommend early registration and highly encourage the two-week registration as our camp curriculum follows a two-week progression again this year.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information. We will continue to use as our summer camp email this year. Please direct questions to me here. You may also contact Mary Grossman at We look forward to another fun-filled and action-packed summer!  — Kalen Ritz Kleyman
