A New Yorker by birth, Bradley Adams moved to Jackson in 2018—not for the skiing (he actually took his first lessons last year!) but so he and his wife, Leah Schwartz, could enjoy the benefits of raising their kids close to family. For the last four-plus years, the raising of said kids—Albie (6) and Lewis (4)—has been Brad’s primary focus and occupation. Before that, he worked various law-related jobs in Cheyenne after obtaining his JD from the University of Wyoming College of Law in Laramie (where he and Leah met). The opportunity to work with JHJC emerged just as Brad was contemplating a return to the professional world, and he could not imagine a better fit as his priorities have recently coalesced around service and community building. For Brad, JHJC has been integral in shaping his own sense of community and “home” in Jackson. He looks forward to working with Mary and the JHJC Board to help ensure a positive and welcoming Jewish community is felt by all our many and diverse members and visitors.
Aside from learning to ski, Brad’s interests include cooking, travel, running, and his beloved New York Yankees. He welcomes conversations on these subjects and many others and can’t wait to meet all JHJC members in the coming months. — Brad Adams
