The JHJC has earned a strong reputation for outstanding music. Our music program, founded in 1996 by Chazzan Judd Grossman, has welcomed musicians from near and far—from professional artists who grew up right here in Jackson Hole to renowned performers such as The Klezmatics, members of the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, and cantors Laurie Akers and Basya Schechter.

Our musical performances center around special Shabbats, major holidays, and standout events. They also include festive community events such as the annual Swingin’ Sabbath, fundraising galas, and concerts featuring dance bands like the Klezbros, the Richard Brown Orchestra, and our own Judd Grossman Band.
