jplayjuddThrough art activities, songs, stories and Hebrew vocabulary, the J-Play curriculum blends learning and fun for both children and parents. Activities include incorporating Hebrew words with the goals of familiarity and engagement, rather than strict retention. Each session explores a different theme that may relate to an upcoming Jewish holiday, the weekly Torah portion, or a secular topic such as the seasons, animals or colors. Check the News section for current postings on weekly curriculum, Hebrew vocabulary and planned activities.

J-Play meets at 10 a.m. the first and third Sunday of each month at the JHJC Center and is currently offered free of charge for children under the age of five. Students must be accompanied by a parent and parent participation is encouraged. Snacks and supplies are provided.
