Israeli Cuisine Dinner Fundraiser for Kibbutz Hanita in Northern Israel
Sponsored by the JHJC Sisterhood and Cliff and Julie Sobin
Sunday, August 5 at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse
The JHJC Sisterhood is proud to present a dinner featuring Israeli cuisine prepared by Judy Lurie and the JHJC Sisterhood. The Sisterhood is raising money to purchase swimming pool toys and lifeguard equipment for Kibbutz Hanita, our JHJC “sister” Kibbutz. Founded in 1938, this kibbutz of 600 residents is located on the Lebanon border

(literally) and is under constant security threats.
Enjoy chicken shawarma (roasted on a spit on site!) and falafel in pita served with an array of Israeli salads and dessert. Wine and drinks available as well. Special keynote presentation by
Gavy Friedson, medic with United Hatzalah, the award-winning inter-faith volunteer motorcycle medics from Israel. Door prizes and give-a-ways too!
All money raised, up to $500, will be generously matched by JHJC members, Cliff and Julie Sobin who are very involved with ongoing improvements to the kibbutz property. If you would like to help cook and/or serve, please email HERE
. Don’t miss this opportunity to taste Judy’s fabulous Israeli cooking! Purchase tickets above.
